Chuck and the team at Pals are fantastic to work with. They provide honest options and information to make informed decisions to care for our vehicles. Had an evaluation and diagnostic recently. From that, was able to approach the problem and make decisions. Appreciated the time they took to find out everything.

Came in with a fuel issue that could have cost me some big bucks but Pals diagnosed it and repaired it for cheaper than I had hoped. I’ll use them for my truck repairs from now on!

We were heading back to Texas when our Truck had unfortunately overheated. After multiple attempts calling different auto repair shops in the area that were closed or couldn’t help us - Pals Auto Repair DID THE JOB and got us back on the road! Chuck was wonderful and even recommended Carters Towing Truck to get our truck towed. Let me be honest with you- when I called Pals Auto Repair Shop “Chuck” provided me that peace of mind and assurance. I stopped by at PALS on afternoon with no appointment when I was having trouble with the air conditioner on my aged Lincoln. The front desk lady was very friendly and understanding. She went out of her way to have a mechanic take a look at my car that same afternoon, and scheduled an appointment to have the repair work done in a very reasonable time frame. The two gentleman who discussed the repairs with me were both very professional and courteous, and the work seems to have been done very competently. I plan to use PALS for any needed future repairs on my old car, and I recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone who values a good quality job at a fair price!

Cannot say enough good things about PALS auto repair. I was hours from home at a 4 day swim meet with my son, my car smelled like it was burning and I knew I had a serious problem. I was extremely concerned about how this was going to play out. I chose PALS because it was open on Saturday, has been around for several years had excellent reviews-now I know why! I arrived at PALS without an appointment first thing on a Saturday morning. I was greeted with smiling faces who were eager to help. Shelly and Chuck were amazing and truly saved the day for my son and I! When they learned that I was out of town and had a significant concern about my car, they went out of their way to help me. Shelly registered me, explained all of the options for having the car diagnosed and potentially fixed. Chuck said he would look at my car as soon as he could, and did so as promised....he explained everything that was wrong and the likely solution. When I became concerned about the cost of the repair, he never pressured me and came up with a creative solution that was 1/4 the cost of the "normal" solution, which provided me with a way to get home safely and gave me the option to have the car repaired closer to home if I chose to. I spoke to several customers while waiting for my car, all of whom were repeat and loyal customers because of the service and care given by this shop! While waiting for my car, I had a comfortable place to wait, a tv, coffee and good conversation. This could have been disasterous situation, but the caring, competent and fair people at PALs relieved my stress and fixed my problem, while being personable, and happy. I cannot thank them enough for the help and the positive experience. I wish the shop was closer to my home because they would definitely be my "go to". I feel very fortunate to have found them!!

Changed our alternator and belt when everyone else was closed. We were at a horse show from out of town. Pals was the only place open and available to get our truck back up and running in time to tow our horse home. So thankful for the expert workmanship. The battery light did come on and ding, but once it was fully charged, everything worked great. Thanks once again!

They got my car right in before I drove to Tampa. Great people I will return

Called from Orlando to let them know that my wife's car was overheating in Ocala. They made room in their busy schedule (on a Saturday) to get her back on the road safely. Thanks, Chuck!

I travel alot, and like to look at reviews before making any local decision. I picked Pals because they have alot of good reviews and have a slightly higher star rating than other mechanics in the area. My AC blower went out, and in July Florida summer heat, it was impossible for me to continue on my trip for business. Over the phone Chuck was polite and friendly, and as informative as one can be over the phone without looking at the issue. I didn't have an appointment (my problem was a same day kinda emergency) and they were MORE than accommodating because of my last minute need. They did a diagnosis, and notified me of the issue. I was expected to be back to work relatively soon in a different state, and I had to keep my employer updated as to what's going on for my delay. I have a CDL and the company I drive for has a Diesiel Master Mechanic. He was filling in for my immediate manager since he was on vacation. I sent him the invoice (just like you would do for a doctor's note) and he asked me to grab the ac motor and bring it to him so he could "inspect it". He thought it was weird that Pals said it was the resister, and then charged also for a new blower(he knew this from the invoice I forwarded to him). Anyways, I contacted the Toyota Dealership that originally bought my car from and asked a Toyota certified mechanic if you have to replace the blower if you replace the resister, and they confirmed that the blower itself is what ruins the resister, and not the other way around. Pals had it right all along. People often think they know better (even other mechanics) and it's important in reviews for mechanics to applaud them for that. I do think the price was a bit high, but they are part of a national warranty network, and I believe that caused the cost of the repair to be a little over what "the national average" for my make and model was. High end for this repair should have been $550, I paid $670. If that coverage is important to you, by all means that's an acceptable premium. For me, I look at my particular repaid (ac blower) has a lifespan of 10-20 Years, so 36 month guarantee is moot unless they replaced it with a POS, but I don't believe they'd do that. They were up front and honest as to what needed repair, and were more knowledgeable about this situation that the master mechanic at the company I work. I appreciate them taking good care of me as quickly as they did!
