THANK YOU PALS!!!!!! When my transmission exploded in my 2014 Nissan Altima in Ocala, Pal’s was not only nearby but highly rated so I took it there. Everybody working there could see I was having the worst day of my life - I was crying, far from home, no idea how to get home, and I also had my two dogs with me. Chuck, his wife, and the owner allowed me to bring my two little dogs into their waiting room and were incredibly nice to me. Aside from the niceness, they were able to tell me within about 30 minutes my transmission needed to be replaced - which we suspected. The transmission was ordered and work began right away. They got it done in a very timely manner so that I could get on the road to Michigan for the holidays. Directly after leaving Pal’s, we drove it 2,400 miles round trip without incident. I’m forever grateful and recommend Pal’s to everyone.

Replace thermostat

I am new to the Ocala area, and was looking for a good place to take my cars, and clearly I found a great place. Better than I expected. Service is awesome!

My daughter and I walked in for a diagnostic and the female behind the counter did not acknowledge our presence. When I said hello, she did not respond until after finishing her paperwork (3 clipboards and keys and computer entries). Once finished she asked which car, grabbed a clipboard and exited (without holding two doors that closed as we exited). We quickly understood that this must not have been a good day for her, or she is simply an extremely rude customer service representative. Needless to say, we said, “ma’am, it’s okay. We are okay”. To which she replied, “Okay”. Pals is not the place of kindness.

Chuck & crew are honest and fair! My Mini Cooper hood latch has broken 3 times. Pals was able to get genuine mini parts and quickly repair my hood latch. The job came in UNDER the estimated amount! Thank you!

PERFECT PALS! The service staff took my coolant leak van at last minute. They ran a diagnostic and pressure test reassuring me it was road worthy. Plus, I learned about the TechNet Professionals network all around the country that will honor any repair warranty. That's a great piece of mind for a single woman traveller!

Pretty boring actually. I've been going to PALS for years. I give a congenial Shelley the keys and wait in cool comfort while they analyze the problem. Chuck comes in and tells me what's wrong, and the best options for fixing it in a cost-effective way. Once it's fixed I pay and drive off. Sometimes it gets switched up a bit. Like once I came in with a problem with the car and Chuck had to tell me that the car was fine. He did it without implying that my brain might not be. That day there was no bill to pay before I drove off. So yeah, I guess it's not always boring and predictable... Thanks, PALS!!! 🚗
