I was very happy with the service we were offered when we first brought our boat to your shop. However due to parts availability our boat was at your facility from June 26 to July 14th due to the part being on back order. Patrick could not guarantee the part could or would be shipped in another additional 10 days. I was uneasy with our boat sitting out side for a whole month , as I am aware you are not responsible for damage or theft. I asked Patrick if the boat could be put inside at night so it would be safe until the B/O part could be available Patrick said he had no room to keep it inside so I told him we will pick up the boat and bring it back when and if the part comes in This is were our service took a turn straight to hell…… after not receiving a call back (3) times from Patrick “he said he was calling Chuck ? “ I called back again and he said if we pick up the boat we need to pay for the work that has been done - I had no problem with this at all BUT then Patrick proceeded to tell me I had to pay for the pump also - even though it was on B/O and had no ETA . I told him no we were not paying 800.00 for a pump that is on B/O and possibly not even available but I needed to take our boat home before something happened to it sitting in your back parking lot for another “10” + days - This is the real sad part about the service and the respect or should I say LACK of respect and care for your customers property When I went to hook up the boat I was checking straps and saw the boat was FULL of leaves and the seats that had just been reupholstered was covered in brown dirty tree sap and stains You didn’t even cover the seats to protect them from the Tree you parked it under .The seats had grease smears all over driver seat I was sooooo upset by what I saw When I went to the office to ask Patrick if he saw the inside of my boat he just stands there and smiled and said not responsible ??????? one of your mechanics left a socket on the rear seat and has put a rust depression / mark that will not come out –of the brand new upholstery I spent 5 hours cleaning leaves and stems out of the boat yesterday and I can not get the dirty oak tree sap off of the interior I really thought you guys were Honest and trust worthy I am attaching photos of the boat as you can see in the photo taken 6/25 /20 the boat is spotless - please tell me how would you have liked this to happen to your property ???? – I am greatly disappointed by this whole situation I know you have no responsibility to make things right Patrick made that very clear with his smug smile I just hope you take proper messures to NOT allow this to happen to someone elses property
We are so sorry you had a poor experience, Connie. The back ordered part was out of our control. But had we known that your seats were newly upholstered and needed protection, we could have done a much better job by offering to cover them. We did not see any photos from you yet, but we will be happy to examine your photos and do what we can to help you clean the seats. We are sorry for the frustration of it all. Parts are hard to get because of the pandemic and it created a domino effect that had us park your boat for much longer than expected. We hope to hear from you soon so we can address those seats.
