A very rapid and professional emergency repair was performed on my Infiniti G35. Problem was diagnosed and a new starter replaced quickly. I was only in the shop for less than an hour

Thanks for the five stars! We appreciate you. :-)

They buy the parts at advanced auto and over price by 50% when they sell it to their clients I will never go back to that shop or recomend enyone to go there.

Your assumptions are incorrect. Though we are next door to a parts store, we do not receive our parts from them. Our parts come through distributors that carry a nationwide, 3-year/36K-mile warranty. You do not get the same warranty, nor do you get help from professional technicians when you Do It Yourself. Our pricing reflects our extra value and care. Best wishes and safe travels to you.

Horrible business. 5 years ago my wife and I were on the way to North Carolina and got stranded in Ocala due to an overheating problem with our van. We saw Pal's so we stopped. After waiting about 3 hours the guy came and told us that we needed a WHOLE NEW ENGINE and that it would cost $6,500. All he showed us was some fake sympathy and a vial of dirty coolant. We didn't believe him so we went somewhere else. when we got the van looked at the only problem was the TEMPERATURE SENSOR which costed us $20 and five minutes! Nothing was wrong with our engine and it is still running today! We had to get towed back home in order to get it looked at which was 2 hours away and I missed my grandmothers funeral in NC all because Pal's wanted to cheat us out of some money. Don't waste your time. THE CAR IS STILL RUNNING AFTER 5 YEARS AND WE NEVER NEEDED A HEAD GASKET! THEY ARE LIARS. BAD BUSINESS. Replacing one head gasket like you said, would be way less than 6,500 so if we didn't have the money, why would charging us for a new engine be logical?? We never applied for any benefits while there either smh. Dude is a liar!!! If we agreed the car was "broken" why is it still running after 5 YEARS without ever replacing what you "allegedly" said needed replacing?? I thought we agreed it was "BROKEN"?? If I could put zero stars I would! Stay away from this place!

Hi Jordan, Pals is under new ownership since December of 2024. If you have a recent concern, we would be happy to look into it. We are sorry the entire family is upset with us. You were going to North Carolina when your vehicle overheated. You had the vehicle towed to us. When you arrived, we explained that we needed to do a diagnostic procedure and informed you that the cost was $149.99 plus tax and supply fee which totals $173.33. We also informed you that the diagnostic fee would be waived if you let us repair the vehicle. We performed a block test and the test revealed that the block and heads were compromised. The vehicle required a minimum of one head gasket, and because the cost of a used replacement engine was just a little more money, we recommended the replacement engine because you never know if the vehicle will need more than the head gasket. Hanna agreed that the vehicle was broken. That is why she had it towed into the shop. She did not have the money to repair the vehicle, so she applied for Synchrony Finance and was turned down. Then she applied for Snap Finance and was turned down. She then decided to pay for the diagnostic and continue to drive the vehicle, knowing that it was overheating and that it would probably fail on the road. The comment about the dirty coolant is the result of our block test. The coolant turned from green to blue, indicating a compromised head or head gasket. Obviously you were upset that Hanna was not approved for financing to repair the vehicle. We do not know how the vehicle made it to the destination without repair, but we wish you all well.

Sheisty business. They make you sign a $172 contract to diagnose your car, and then you get refunded the money IF you have them make the repair but the repair is never cheaper than the contract. Take some time to read the bad reviews THEY ARE TRUE! SAVE YOUR MONEY and find a trustworthy mechanic cause it ain't here!!

Way too expensive $173 for a diagnostic because i needed my car checked because it was making a knocking sound in the engine they brushed me off and told me it's normal and since they are mechanics i was relieved and thought it was fine but one day later the knock is louder and the check engine light came up. I thought they would actually know how to really check and diagnose my car but they did not hesitate to charge full price for barely doing anything. I chose this place because of the good reviews but i dont know about that i didnt have that experience. My car wasnt in even in there for 15 minutes but i did spend a lot more time signing paperwork and paying them thinking i would get a good service but im right where i started with no answers and $173 less.

We are sorry you feel this way, Walter. As you know, we have tried to offer to repair your car and make things right. You see, when you are sick, you go to a doctor for an exam. The doctor needs to do an examination before giving a proper diagnosis. The same goes for your car. If something is wrong, testing needs to be done to pinpoint the issue. If you don't diagnose the issue, no one can ever be sure what's wrong. We welcome you to come back at any time in the future so we can test what's wrong and show you all your options so you can make an informed decision. Until then, we hope you enjoy your new used car.

Chuck, Shelby, and their team had our RV in, diagnosed in 1 day, and fixed and ready to go after 2 days. They were very fair, inspected our whole rig, got us road read and didn't try to push any extras. We appreciated the great service, kindness, and honesty. We will refer all of our rv and motorhome friends to Pal's!

Wow! Thanks for the heartfelt review, Kyle. You’ve made our whole day! Thanks for placing your trust in us. :-)
