tried to charge me $150 before telling me what's wrong with my car only to tell me what I actually needed when I decided to not pay and leave. I would've gotten the work done had they been upfront with me from the get go. the receptionist kept "accidentally" overcharging people's cards too. very dishonest and shady people, that's how they keep their business running I guess. save your money and visit 10th street garage or plenty other mechanics who not only charge $50 for a diagnose but are efficient with their job too.

My car broke down just outside of Ocala in the first leg of my vacation journey. First the A/C then the engine went; my dog and I were in dire straights on a super hot day in August. The tow truck driver took us to the best repair shop he knew and I have to agree ! They were dog friendly and let me bring my pup into the air conditioned waiting room while they checked the car over. They put me on priority and I got my car back the next day. In the mean time they drove us to a dog friendly hotel and then picked me up the next day. I’d say above and beyond service. My car is working beautifully and A/C is blowing super cold air. Needed car to be towed. Called AAA and driver recommended Paul's. Have never been there before. called and owner said bring car in. They called with est. same day and said work to be completed in 2 days. Surprise work was done in 2 days. Cost was on point with est.. Would have no question to bring work their in future.

Changing my review to reflect how much Pals helped me out. I had a problem with a repair and had to pay to get it redone. Pals went out of their way to make sure I got reimbursed for it. If you have an emergency, remember to use the TechNet service, it’s very helpful!

Pals Auto Care was courteous and thorough right out the gate. I was stranded with two kids and a truckload of food and supplies for camping when my engine failed. I looked online, saw amazing reviews, and decided to drive my bucking car into the lot. From the moment we pulled in, they were extremely kind and understood my situation and looked at my car right away. Chuck and his wife went above and beyond to help me. They even offered to drive us up the street so I could feed my kids breakfast. I was very pleased with the level of service and would highly recommend this auto care shop for any and all services. I’m from Orlando and wouldn’t think twice to use them!!

I went in to get my mothers AC serviced. They found the problem, cooling fans that stopped working. I was told that it would be $149.00 for a estimate and diagnosis of problem. I was given a estimate $1600.00 to complete repairs. A new fan was quoted at $948.00. This price was roughly 300% higher than ordering the part myself. I refused to pay this price and did not receive the repairs. I ordered the part and repaired the vehicle myself in 2 hours. I was shocked to receive a bill for $172.00 for a estimate instead of the quoted $149.00. Being in the service business for 14 years I prided myself on being honest. I left Pals thinking “WOW!!! They are a bunch of rip offs!”. I will by default warn anyone who asks where they should get their car fixed not to go to Pals.
