Had my car towed here without calling because it was a Sunday and everyone was closed. Called Monday morning spoke with Chuck who told me later that my starter was gonna cost around $800 to replace. I had the diagnostic done free per their site. I told him I could get it done cheaper and he said go ahead and I'll price match it. I got some written estimates for half the price. Chuck ended up not wanting to price match it so he wasn't honest. I told him I'd have it towed somewhere else and he threatened to keep it there without me paying them. Didn't sign anything to pay them. He continued to say that towing it would cost more then me just leaving it there. I had it towed and fixed for less than half of what he quoted me. I would never recommend this place. I even had an issue with trying to pick it up and tow it from their shop.
David, we appreciate the opportunity to serve, and we are sorry to see you gave us a low score when we offered terrific service. Your vehicle was towed to our shop after hours. The next business day, we called to follow up and you told us that the car would not turn over. We offered a FREE charging system check and you agreed. We diagnosed the problem as a bad starter and called you with an estimate of $739.99 for parts and labor. You said that it was too high of a price and asked if we would price match another shop. We explained our policy on price matching, which is to match any written and signed estimate from a legitimate shop. However, you did not have a written nor signed estimate. You only had a price that was given over the phone, so we did not match the price. You came later that day with a tow truck and the vehicle was towed to another shop. It is disappointing to see your strong criticism when we charged ZERO for our service, but we wish you the best.
