This establishment will try to overcharge you. Needed a new a/c compressor for my Ford explorer. Pals wanted to do a full a/c system replacement and quoted me $3400! Almost $1200 of that was just for the compressor itself (not including labor). I knew immediately they were trying to take advantage of me. Not to mention I waited over 2 hours past my scheduled appointment just to have them look at my vehicle. I politely paid the diagnostic fee and left. Had the same work done at a certified dealership for HALF the price! I can't believe how much more expensive this place was than a dealership... Definitely won't be going back to pals. Chuck and Shelley were very nice and polite, but that's probably how they convince so many people to overpay for parts/services... all the 5 star reviews you see on here are probably people that don't realize how much they're actually paying.

In our shop, we are going to tell you all the things that need to be done on your car so that you can be safer, make intelligent decisions, and your car will last longer. We don't take shortcuts here, and our pricing reflects our extra value, care, and nationwide warranty. We don't ever want our clients to have their car broken down and on a tow truck. Chuck and Shelly are the BEST! Since moving to Ocala two years ago, we have relied on their services for our three cars and truck. Needed to find reliable auto service to do an oil change on our Sienna van. Oil changes these days aren't as straight forward as they used to be 20 years ago. They did it right. I will be back to Pals for any future auto maintenance.

i had a good experience, nice people to talk with and i trusted them with my Mazerati in which i dont let anyone touch unless its a Maserati dealer to do an oil change
